Hello Community
To connect to a company share I need acl support for nfs mounts.
In /boot/config-2.6.17-11-generic I found these commented line:
# CONFIG_NFS_V3_ACL is not set
# CONFIG_NFSD_V3_ACL is not set
Does this mean, that I have to build my own kernel to get this support?
Is there a reason, that acl for nfs is not build in to the standard kernel?
The following link says, that I should not build a custom kernel:
https://wiki.kubuntu.org/KernelCustomBuild
What is the way to go?
Thanks and regards.
