not used services (pcmcia & raid)

hi there

my pc has not pcmcia and raid service, but during start-up, in that phase with blue "kubuntu" logo, it tells me it is "starting PCMCIA services" (but it doesn't say ok to it) and raid also

i try to remove it, first from system settings -> system administrator (and it says it's all right) then from adept tool, but nothing changes: in the next start-up they are recalled again

can you help me? i'm trying to light-up my boot sequence and i can't do that
