    KDE Plasma 5.18 bug?

My system was updated to Plasma 5.18 (Rejoice!) but after logging out and back in the wallpaper was set to default and it was set to Folder View. No biggie I thought so I changed back to my preferred wallpaper and set it to Desktop View.

This morning when I turned on my PC it was back to default wallpaper and Folder View. I'm thinking this might be a bug! Or maybe I should delete a config file and set up my preferences again!

Not seeing that here, I know that's not helpful other than to point out might not bug a bug, but something in your config. Try creating a new user and see if you get the same results.

I had that - wallpaper. clock, a few things, resetting - a few days ago when Testing got to 5.18.0.
It only happened twice, and then haphazardly, between boots (I reboot often).
      Hasn't happened since.
Probably an early-release buglet, it looks fixed in Testing, so it should be soon in others.

No biggie. I can wait for a fix.

I found this command in another thread:

          qdbus org.kde.plasmashell /PlasmaShell evaluateScript "lockCorona(true)"

This has solved the problem in the meantime. Obviously, ALL my widgets are now locked. I won't need to change them for now but to unlock, run:

          qdbus org.kde.plasmashell /PlasmaShell evaluateScript "lockCorona(false)"
