    LMMS package

LMMS - package seems to be broken, missing or wrong dependencies when installing with wine -staging.
Is there any way to bypass the false dependencies to make it installable w/ wine-staging?

    Code:
[FONT=monospace]Conflicts//Breaks against version 3.0-1ubuntu1 for wine-stable but that is not InstVer, ignoring
    Considering wine-development:amd64 1 as a solution to winehq-staging:amd64 0
Removing winehq-staging:amd64 rather than change wine:amd64
    [/FONT]

Bug the winehq folks to fix their packages?

for some odd reason lmms wants to install a bunch of 32 bit libraries and winehq have some of their own which is probably causing the conflict., so it might be better to grab the latest LMMS release from their website, which has a self-contained appimage, and you won't get any dependency problems.

The version in Ubuntu 18.04 is very old, heck it is almost same old version in the latest *buntus

      Hi c;ister

thank you very much for the thread!
I have not looked at LMMS for quite a while and it has REALLY had a lot of development!
I'm going to try the download and fiddle with it.

In synaptic, on an AMD machine running Kubu 19.04 it installed; bringing two other packages... "common" and "server"

Amongst them there were maybe... 20 single items in total.
It installed in multimedia with a kind of "green M" and when clicked offered to make a directory which it said could be changed later and the app started and looks very full of bells and whistles!

If you do not mind, maybe fill folks in on a little of what you do with it? Just a thought.

And, if this sparks some interest, maybe a "digital, self produced" music thread could be started for folks to show their work? Again, just a thought.
