[KDE] Kmail no longer downloading mails

Hi everyone, latest update of my Neon 18.04 (fully updated) has resulted in Kmail no longer downloading my g-mails . Checking my account configuration, I see the message "Could not read the password: user rejected wallet access".
I tried to check the "Walletmanager" set-up, but unfortunately it does not open and despite being installed, it is totally non responding .
Could someone please help?

it is a known issue with Kmail. Google changed things, and essentially someone seems to have forgotten to go through the process of registering Kmail to be able to access gmail.

Thank you Claydoh! I browsed thru information given in your links and fiddled with the kmail configuration and eventually succeeded getting it back to work. For now all is OK.
