I've been having this issue for awhile, on Kubuntu 18.04 and on Neon with the same base. Apparently any kernel past 4.15 tends to have this issue.
After any form of restarting, the stylus input seems to be lost (but still shows up under lsusb and under xsetwacom. Unplugging/plugging back in seems to fix this issue. This is only an issue after a restart, after having done unplugged/plugged back in, I don't have an issue until my next restart (which is usually the following week).
Is there any way to have a startup bash script that would replicate unplugging/plugging back in that would do this upon bootup?
