    Fresh Neon install doesn't boot

I had a couple of annoyances after my update from 22.04 to 24.04 so earlier I did a fresh install of
Neon from the ISO I downloaded a couple of days ago.

When I restart the machine I get the Lenovo logo and that's it, nothing further! I tried hitting F12
to select the boot device and chose Neon but the same thing happened!

I only had a Mint Cinnamon USB stick to fall back on to get some things done and I also noticed a
newer Neon ISO had been uploaded, which I now have.

If I have time tomorrow I'll try and install it but I need my PC right now, working!

I wonder if I installed it wrong?

300Mb FAT32 EFI partition (Boot flag enabled > Right or wrong?)

    40Gb / partition (No flags)

Remainder is /home (Obviously no flags!)

Correct -- and mounted to /boot/efi

I have done two installs using the current (October 13) image, one my main PC since that install is about two years old, and my laptop, just because -- it had been installed using the pre-official testing images. However, it seems I was using the "current" iso as opposed to using the exact date, and considering I did the installs ON the 13th, mayhaps I was using the previous image?

But there have been 'bum' images in the past, especially when they built them almost daily. It could be the case here.

It seems I'm having problems with my graphics card. I'm now using the onboard graphics. I'll see if I have another HDMI cable because the card was working fine until I installed Neon today!
