Hello,
Amarok sound sometimes breaks up, that is goes rapidly on and off, as if a speaker wire were loose. This happens always at the beginning of a track and mainly when the computer has just been turned on.
It does not happen with VLC or with Clementine.
Also, is there no way to have Amarok come up with a decent sound volumes etting and not always zero?
I am running KDE Neon, Plasma 5.12.5, Kernel 4.4.0-130-generic. I am also eagerly looking forward to Neon on the 18.04 kernel. I notice that Amarok uses something called Phonon over a VLC backend, which is why I tried VLC alone. Clementine doesn't want to tell me what it uses.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
