    [RESOLVED] No sound

Fully updated. Not sure when I stopped having working sound. Checked the obvious things. Sound is not muted. Plasma Workspace Notifications (Log in and Log out; what I care about) are marked. Testing there, no sound. I am running KDE neon User Edition in an Oracle VirtualBox VM.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

I'm not on Neon. Not a sound junkie. Just checking something here, for example in 22.04, Sound icon in the Tray, you got Devices and Applications ... sometimes it get muted under the Applications tab.

I'm such an idiot! My Mac volume was set to zero. Turned it up accordingly, and hey, there's sound in KDE neon!

I'll go to my corner now.

Back in the day when I was doing "user help desk support" we called this an "error 50" = the error was 50cm away in front of the computer…
But I am glad this was a rather simple solution!
