How can I customize the time format in the panel?

Is there a way to customize the time format displayed in the panel at the bottom right of the screen?

Here's what I have now:



I'd like to use the 12 hour format hh:mm:ss[am|pm] - basically the same as now but instead of " P.M." ending in "pm".

Is there a way to customize this? Right now I'm using a semi-customized Regional Settings:



When I click Modify... on Time I get this, which doesn't seem to offer any way to customize the format:

I suggest trying Better Inline Clock. It has more options for customisation than the standard Clock.

First you have to install it.

Right click on the Panel and choose Add Widgets > Get New Widgets (Top right) and search for it and add it.

Then right click on the Panel Clock and select Show Alternatives and choose Better Inline Clock.

Once changed, right click on the Clock again and choose Configure Better Inline Clock and there are quite a few
options for you to choose from!
