[PLASMA 5] Only generic AppImage icons are displayed

    Hello KDE neon experts,

I usually use the Folder View Plasmoid in my panel or dock to quickly have access to AppImages.

In KDE neon (and TUXEDO OS 2) only generic icons are displayed there - no matter which settings of the Plasmoid I use.
In e.g. Kubuntu 22.04 all individual application icons are displayed (except Kdenlive's, but its has always been the generic one) - the Plasmoid's settings are exactly the same as in KDE neon
Both use Breeze icons and Plasma 5.27.9, but it has been this way for some time now…

Here is an example (KDE neon on the left, Kubuntu on the right side):

    What am I missing?
Is there a package that is not installed by default in KDE neon and TUXEDO OS 2 - or is it some mysterious setting or config file somewhere?

PS: In Debian 12 also the Kdenlive icon is shown - same Plasmoid settings as in KDE neon and Kubuntu.
