[LAPTOP] AMD Ryzen APU running KDE NEON or Kubuntu?

Im eyeing this laptop as an ultra portable workstation and hope to run linux on it. However I have not heard much about hardware support on the linux side.

I have ryzen desktop and it's fine, but my GPU is nvidia. The Ryzen APUs have a brand new graphics chip, so you need to investigate amdgpu or amdgpu-pro support for those chips.

ALso HP laptops can have some seriously locked down UEFI implementations.
