I upgraded a week ago. The usual *buntu upgrade (which can go in any direction, but historically have gone very well for me), with actually fewer obsolete packages than I was expecting, and no real issues, which is even stranger as I do have a mildly modified system - full pipewire for example, and a lot of arm64 libs and qemu bits for building images for my Chromebook.
And, yes, there have been no changes to the source for Firefox, nor are there are no plans to, currently.
