KDEneon bug- missing fall-back dependency effects ability to remove VLC after install

Just found a small bug in KDEneon. If you try to remove VLC, you may get a request to remove 80 packages - basically all of Plasma.

The issue is that KDEneon ships with "phonon4qt5-backend-vlc" as the audio backend. Removing VLC also remove this package and you can't remove it without replacing it. "phonon4qt5-backend-vlc" should be packaged to have a fall-back to "phonon4qt5-backend-gstreamer" so vlc can be removed if desired, but it's not OR it's dependencies are incorrectly set.

Kubuntu doesn't have this issue and will let you remove both gstreamer and vlc phonon4qt5 packages.

Right now, I'm trying to figure out where I report KDEneon specfic bugs...

Well, as KDE neon is KDE-centric, I would suggest posting the issue at https://forum.kde.org/viewforum.php?...4b15fb8140da9f

        You can try:
        sudo dpkg --remove --force-depends name_of_package

and if things don't work out you can use the snapshots you made just prior to using that command to roll back.
