yes ,,,the krusader I have in Neon-LTS has that as well ,,,,,, I'm just used to using the built in editor in Krusader-root-mode.

Indeed. My version (2.6.0) will not allow Ctl+E (Edit as root). That option is not active.

Indeed. My version (2.6.0) will not allow Ctl+E (Edit as root). That option is not active.

Yeah, I got all excited. Mine doesn't work either, even if you change EDITOR to Not Kate
