    How do you remove something from a Panel

    This may be a dumb question, but I can't find how to remove a widget from a panel. Removing a widget from the desktop is easily enough.

    Actually SOME widgets (Quick Launch) offers a context-menu option to remove them, others (Launcher, System Tray) does not!

      Click the hamburger, then hover mouse cursor over what you want to remove. should be a popup with a red X to remove the named widget.

        Feeling dumb - where is this Hamburger? I already had lunch.

          Incidentally I just worked out a way to remove said Application Launcher.

          1. Right-click panel -> Panel Options -> Panel Settings
          2. While this is visible on screen, point at (hover mouse over) item to remove. A small popup will appear.
          3. Within this pop-up click the Red X (remove)

              Oh.
              I've seen that before but don't it that on either of the two panels on my system...

                A-HA!

                It disappears when you lock the widgets.

                And it looks like a "spanner" in my theme.
