    [DESKTOP] After updating to 5.8

    I notice some issues:

    1. Some "Settings" modules doesn't fit on smaller screens (Display configuration, Power Settings), doesn't allow resizing, and doesn't scroll. Some parts of the interface, notably the cancel/apply buttons are not accessible. I'm not 100% sure if this is a new issue but don't recall seeing it before. Note: If you open settings via "System Settings" then you get the module inside a scroll-able window. But if you open the module directly, eg by finding it in the K-menu or by selecting the "Options" button on a System Tray widget, then the module opens in a too large window that doesn't scroll or resize.

    2. Bluetooth keeps telling me that my Bluetooth is not working optionally. It offers to "Fix It" but the problem (whatever it is) keeps coming back.

    3. Some packages are held back, these seem to relate to kwin-x11 for the most part. This may be related to the Bluetooth speaker I use.

    4. File manager running jobs still doesn't show progress properly.

    5. Notification History still missing.

    6. Angled Widgets still look like crap.

    7. Still can't find a way to have different widgets on different desktops.

    8. Still no option to set the volume sliders vertically. This is only an issue with the Volume widget on the Panel. A volume widget on the desktop shows the sliders vertically only but they look like crap.

    9. I just found the "Ignore Selection" option for the clipboard. Not sure when this appeared but it is a godsent, otherwise the clipboard history is just full of garbage (due to my habit of selecting things all the time)

    10. I like the new Shutdown/Suspect/Log Out options shown in various places.

    11. Hash Sum mismatch in downloading the package repository updates?

Mostly my bugbears are still present. A few I've not yet had time to test. We have not received new Widgets in GHNS for ages and have only a pitifully small selection to choose from compared to older releases.

I can't wait to see whether my primary bugbear - Plugging and un-plugging of an external monitor - has been sorted out.

Also I want to add to this list the "mysterious" recent applications in a K-menu widget on the desktop. I can best explain this with a screenshot:

Name:	Desktop 1_034.jpg
Views:	1
Size:	53.3 KB
ID:	643334

See the Items annotated in green #1, #2, #3, etc. If I select one of them it opens one of the recent system settings modules that I used, but there is no indication of which one it is.
