Kde Desktop

I am a Linux nubie, but I love it so far. Is there an easy way to download and install the full boat KDE desktop for Edgy? Does this automatically bring konqueror to full functionality also?


2. I was not clear I would like KDE with all the goodies that come with the original from the KDE project, with KOffice and all the other goodies.

If you are using Kubuntu, then you are using KDE already. If you installed Ubuntu, you can install just install the kubuntu-desktop package in order to get the default appliations and settings that are installed on Kubuntu.

You could install 'kde' and 'kde-extras' (with recommends). Though if you know what you want, it might be better to install the individual packages, like 'koffice' etc.
