Dual-booting Kubuntu on a Windows machine

[...] regarding step 3, "fix the contentious clock", [...] It seems that the latest upgrade to windows 8.1 has corrected this issue.

I have just updated a computer with Windows 8.1, and that update solved the bad behavior of Windows 8.1 with the clock.

Previously, if that dual-booting computer was booted with Windows 8.1 and then it was booted with Kubuntu, the time was changed, but now the time isn't changed when booting with Windows 8.1. I did some extra boots to test that (because I also found it hard to believe).
