    Amazon and Amarok

    Hi everybody,

Each time that I turn on kubuntu 12.04, a window pops up and I'am asked to configure Amazon in Amarok. I never asked Amarok anything and even less Amazon. Please, could you write me how I can get rid of this window?

I used to get this all the time too, but it has been a long time since I fixed it. I think you need to do this:

    - Open Amarok.
    - Go to "Settings -> Configure Amarok"
    - In the "Configure - Amarok" window go to "Plugins"
    - Uncheck "MP3 Music Store"
    - Click "OK"
    - Restart Amarok
    Nowadays I'm mostly Mac, but...

      hmmmmmm

It is curious how, now that I think back, that this particular thing has been maintained "unticked" through my continuous upgrades from Raring. hmmm kinda says something about Linux in general and probably Kubuntu in particular.

Thank you very much benny_fletch! There are no "plugins" to choose in "configure Amarok", but only "mp3 amazon" to uncheck.
