I know that this is quite convoluted but it does work.
After making the dvd of say, music tracks, just click to close and one will be asked to "save the project".
It will want to save it in a really odd place down in tmp files just navigate to some convenient place like "documents" for instance.
When the file is clicked it will show two files, the operative one is named: "maindata.xml".
It can be looked at with a text editor but the information contained therein cannot be manipulated, at least with the normal terminal, possibly others, and if there is one I, for one, would appreciate someone so posting.
Next "extract" the maindata to the same folder.
Click that and it, for me at least, then opened with Rekonq.
The track info is there, although there is the whole file system included which is noisesome, but it is, at least, now in a form that can be massageed.
One still cannot copy and paste, but one can "share". Right click the selected information and click "share" and Kmail will open, or some default mail client.
When the mail client appears one can then select, copy and paste into something like Libre Office Writer!
TALK ABOUT CONVOLUTED!! lol
But, in LO one can then strip out the unnecessary informating by using search and replace for a complex dvd, I replaced with an * or just manually removing the unnecessary information.
Again, tedious but it works.
There have been many requests in both the Windoze world and Linuxdom for a simple file addition that would provide this information but there seem to be good and valid reasons for such a thing not being available, and the commercial ones for Windblows don't work all that well either! lol
Again, if anyone has a simpler method please post it.
