How to set Special Appointment in Kontact, Kmail

If one looks at the summary page in Kontact there is, for me at least, on the bottom left a section called "Upcoming Special Dates".

It took me a while to figure out how to set that on an appointment:

In "categories" find "special occasion" and save with that. You will see it coloured differently in the calendar and it will be in the Upcoming Special Dates section.
