How do I, can I, what is the procedure for, placing html, URL, webpage link in Quicklauncher widget plasmoid.
I went through several iterations of how to do this, but with this the simplest method is the one that works.
Open the webpage in Firefox and drag the "symbol" that is in the URL line directly to Quicklauncher. It has to be a single motion or it gets lost somehow. In my particular case, I see the symbol of the URL and clicking it directly opens Firefox.
The same method works with Konqueror, but, for some strange reason, I can open the page in Konqueror but when I do it from the URL dragged from Konqueror into the Quicklauncher the formatting is messed up. Possibly someone more smarter than meuns can explain that!
This does not work with Rekonq.
Haven't tried Chrome.
I am REALLY coming to appreciate the Quicklauncher.
