Ok so i know a lot of you may not give a $h*t about this but some do because ive seen this question all over the net dated as recent as this week.
SO ,
1. go here http://www.yepic.co.uk/ and do two things, first download Y!Epic.
Then click the link after the image of Tux that asks if you would like to use Y!Epic on Linux. Do not attempt to install Y!Epic yet even if u already have wine.
2. That will take you here http://www.opensourcerage.com/?page_id=84
3. Read this page and when you get to the part about downloading YACSFix4Linux, before you click that link make sure you really have wine 1.3 minimum. It will make your install much less hectic.
4. once you have wine 1.3 go ahead and install the YACSFix4Linux
5. Then install Y!Epic
You can now launch Y!Epic, and on the first run of it when u try and run the voice it will tell you that you need additional software to use voice and prompt you to install Gcabby. You need it to talk so do that.
Now some of you may say yeah u just repeated what those pages you linked said, and you would be right for the most part. But i have found that saying something twice is sometimes the only way to make things clear
Hope this is usefull.
Oh and if anyone knows of a native client that is supporting voice at this time please share that info. Thank you.
