DVD REGION 1 UNDER KUBUNTU 10.04

1 install VLC Media player

2 download kubuntu-restricted extra

3go to terminal and do following

sudo apt-get install libdvdread4

4 on terminal again type
sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh

put dvd into the drive and enjoy

That's one way of doing it.

Windows no longer obstructs my view.
