GRUB menu editing can be intimidating for the novice user. I've used GRUB for many years dual booting on 1 hard drive (my laptop) and 2 hard drives (my desktop). Although GRUB works well, it's easy to wipe it out when you're installing a new OS. I found many build-it-yourself type switches but I just wanted a quick solution. Although this switch won't help you if you're using a laptop or using a single hard drive on a desktop, it works great with 2 hard drives. You'll use up a 3.5" front bay on your tower.
Well worth $25 to me.
