    The eCheck cleared just fine, although I did make the purchase again through my credit card because of what you wrote above. Thus, $12 was deducted from my bank account and, additionally, $12 was charged to my credit card.

    Please advise.

      I'm seeing that in the transaction log also. Contact PayPal and advise them what happened, and that you want the credit card charge reversed. They shouldn't have any problems with that. If they say they can't, contact your Credit Card company and tell them what happened, and that you want the charge reversed. If either of them say they need/want authorization from Kubuntu Forums . Net, let me know.
