Operating System: Kubuntu 20.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0
Qt Version: 5.12.8
Kernel Version: 5.4.0-42-generic
OS Type: 64-bit
Using gscan2pdf - I can save a scan into the document folder - and immediately see it there.
Using Document Scanner 3.36.3 from Canonical - the scanner saves the file in the document folder, but the file cannot be seen in the document folder. However when I search for the named file in the folder search box, the document is brought up in the search result. When I check the path, it is in the document folder but the document folder does not show it. When I move the file to another directory from the search result then it is seen in the new directory. But at the same time it shows it in the previous search result (the document folder) - when I delete it from there, I get a message it cannot be found (obviously it has been moved to another directory) but nevertheless it show the file as being there.
What is the problem, is the Document Scanner not working properly or is something else not working properly or both? Since gscan2pdf scan results can be seen in the normal way, it points to the Document Scanner having a bug or being part of the problem.
Does anyone know a solution?
