I've installed (k)ubuntu yesterday, and already ran in some disappointing problems, apart from the media:/ problem which should get corrected soon (I hope!) I have big java problems because of the introduction of gcj, I need to use sun JDK! but the gcj it's in the way providing it's own java command, which most of the times won't work, but the most annoying problem it's the name change of libqt package, that blocks the install of skype and opera which requires the old package name, I've tried to create a dummy qt3c102-mt package but libqt3-mt conflicts with it.
What is the reason of this name change? it's not possible to remove the "conflict" and add a dummy package that can be updated to maintain compatibility with those programs that requires it?
EDIT
I found a solution for the java problem:

Now If only was possible to provide a sun jdk package directly instead of force the user to create it's own package would be great
