Problem with Kubuntu "Dapper Drake Flight 3"

The problem is that KDE fails to load with a SIGSEGV of a KBuildSycoca just after installation. No problems during installation process were found. I just can not make it work :-) It loads kdm, i input my username and password...and SIGSEGV. Any ideas?

I downloaded the live cd of dapper flight3 for testing and it still has the same issue as its predesessor. KDM is not loaded. Finding myself in the console status. I'm using a laptop. When I tried startx it gave several errors about some files not found or broken. Hope this bug is fixed when the final release comes out

You mean it fixed the problem I encounterd? (KDM not loading) Does this also work with the live cd?
