This started happening after I upgraded my KDE to 3.5 in Kubuntu Hoary. Whenever I click the Show Desktop button on the Panel or I minimize all windows and launch another app from the desktop, kwin crashes. I filed the bug at bugs.kde.org: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117363 but I was wondering if some of you already encountered this. At first i thought there was some problem with my hardware, but I installed Kubuntu onto another PC, upgraded to KDE 3.5 and the problem persists. this happens regardless of other apps running in the tray. The decoration on my windows dissappears and i get a KDE error message. Everything goes back to normal when I relaunch kwin from Konsole. You can find the backtrace following the link above.
