This is a GNOME calendar which is in the repos for Kubuntu.
If you have .ics calendars ANYwhere on your computer it will AUTOMATICALLY AND INSTANTLY, after being opened, import the LATEST calendar and assign a color which can be changed with a simple click.
You can then import other calendars and...it even LISTS all of them that it finds and assigns colours.
If you have, say, Google Calendar on your phone and add a date on the phone it automatically appears in California.
The college is now using Canvas suite and sent out a year's calendar for anyone who wanted to add it to one's calendar.
This is the ONLY calendering app which worked with it.
If you need to get on with stuff and interact with the great wide world I recommend this app.
Of course it is not an "all in one" but since it works...it...ummmm works... which is the necessary thing.
