No sound HDMI in ATI HD5750

Hi.
I dont have sound in TV while connected trough HDMI. I only have image.
I saw in the internet one solution that worked for others and it was replacing the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash" for GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash radeon.audio=1" in the /etc/default/grub but didnt work for me.
Audio is not muted its everything ok in the mixer. Media players, browser, everything dont play sound except for kde dolphin.. Very strange.. But it's true! If i go to my music folder and in the right panel is the information panel and if i click the play button sound will play in my TV but its is the only way i have sound.
Does anyone got a solution for this?

EDIT: I'm using Kubunt 11.10 32bits

i'm still a novice, but i had a similar issue.

does your motherboard have a built-in sound card? if so, check the audio properties and make sure that they're set to output sound to the appropriate device. and, it is not a 'click one box and everything changes' sort of deal - you have to change each one.

Yeah i found it! It's under Settings -> Audio Setup.
