    [SOLVED] Weather Widget Broken

I'm using 20.04 daily - So this may not be relevant yet. When trying to set up the Weather widget I can not select my city. It always takes the city at the top of the list.
I also saw this in 19.10. If anyone has a solution it would be appreciated. I've already file a bug report launchpad.

Well, 20.04 is still three months away from release, so you can expect some glitches. I'm using 19.10 and have the weather widget on my desktop. It works fine.

maybe it just me, but it did not work in 19.10 here either. I'll see if it gets fixed during development. Thanks for the input.

perhaps there is something wrong with my install. I don't know only know that it will not allow me to select my city. It will hopefully get fixed over time.
          Thanks for the encouragement.

Finally got it to work by switching weather services and my city came up on the top of the list and so I have it configured now.
But still if you select a city down the list it defaults to which ever one is first in the list and this is a bug - I've reported it on Launchpad.
            Thanks to all who replied.

I have four locations - well, two with different services - set in it and it cycles through them with "next location" (top right).
I can also move them up and down the list if I want to change the order... oops, you're right, it doesn't actually change the order
              Maybe rebooting... I'll check later.

Nah. I rebooted, and it's the same.
I guess if you really want that as the first one showed, you could remove the others and then add them again...
