This is on fully updated Neon Dev Stable and Neon User, Kontact 5.10.1 .
I have verified this several times in the last few days and thought I would post and ask for comments.
The option of checking for:
"a delivery receipt"
"a read receipt"
has been iffy for years because of "whether or not" the "receiving e-mail client" would recognize and reply to such from Kmail.
I am happy to post that, at least for this user, such is the case for the "Microsoft Exchange Server".
On this machine:
A) a notification pops in the tray that it "was sent" which, I ASSUME is the same thing as "it was delivered" since if it was not "sent" there would be a notification that "it failed to be sent"
B) an EMAIL arrives when it is read, the recipient does not have to "click something to say they read it", the e-mail is automagically generated in some way.
IF ANYONE has similar or different results with a "Microsoft Exchange Server" ( using the Outlook web) please post!
