Add widgets system load AND GKrellM

    Ok...
When I bought FULLY IN to KDE I dropped all those...things...that i used to have "cluttering up" my desktop, but...WHICH I LOVED!!!

    FIRST AND FOREMOST...

    gKrellM

    BELOVED...gKrellM...

    http://gkrellm.srcbox.net/

Back in the day of HACKING the desktop...that app ...was a CRUEL...mistress... a HARSH taskmaster...it was all command line...

the Old Groaners, as least some of us..., learned SO MUCH getting it to display just about EVERYTHING...about the system from temperature to e-mail...really...and the...mpd (music player daemon)

And...for the artistic bone in us...hundreds of COMMUNITY MADE skins!!

But... beloved as they were THEN...they are... sadly... not in "keeping" with the modern flow of things...

    My Blue on Blue system?

I'm monitoring it with "add widgets / system load"...

    sigh... sigh...sigh...

Yeah, I'm a big fan of GKrellM too. I've been using it since I first tried Ubuntu around 2008. It's so useful and uses so little resources (as far as I can tell).

I guess most people are using Plasma widgets or Conky these days ... sigh!
