I posted this a looooong time ago, probably to the wrong place. This probably is too - it's a 'Wish List' item from a long-term non-programmer user who enjoys facility 'homologated' - fit for human use - as Kubuntu is.
Clicking the Time in the Panel brings up a calendar of the current month. This is mighty handy, but I reckon it could - and should - do more. The Calendar Widget does the same thing, but is far less versatile - I wonder why it's there at all.
I'd like to see each day clickable to bring (zoom?) up an Xpad-style note, editable for the day's itinerary/agenda. Left as is at present if empty, shaded (other than highlight for current Day) if the note has contents. Post new note by right-click on 'empty' day. Accept/dismiss note (zoom down?) by click outside. Days with contents previewed by hover.
What say, folks? Extra facility to the Panel's Time, or to the Calendar Widget? Personally I'd prefer the former rather than clutter the Panel with yet another icon.
