Just last week I started having a problem with quassel notifications. The incoming message notification makes the status bar blink and steals focus from the current window, and as far as I can tell gives the focus to the desktop. The next keystroke brings up the alt-f2 application application launcher and all of a sudden I'm typing in there. Needless to say, it's quite disorienting.
Anybody have any suggestions as to what might be going on or what I could try to fix it?
I wasn't able to relate the new behavior to any change I made in the system.
I've gone into Quassel's Settings/Configure Notifications and turned off all of the notifications in there, but the behavior is unchanged. I tried "rpm -e" removing quassel and reinstalling, but the behavior continues. Is there a way to really completely remove the application settings?
