I've just installed a fresh Kubuntu 16.10 desktop, and everything works, except for Desktop sharing. I have used vnc4 in the past but saw built in desktop sharing so gave it a try.
I've configured it, but when connecting from another machine, the password is accepted but I see a KDE progress screen (KDE background, grey horizontal bar, KDE logo and a progress bar at about 60%). If I look at the machine directly its fine, logged in, and bizarrly, the mouse moves and responds via the vnc session, its just the image of the desktop not being sent.
Any ideas or other info required. ?
