WIFI issues 16.04 and 16.10

HP laptop here with (from lspci) Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8188EE Wireless Network Adapter. My DSL modem and my repeater show up in the list of available connections but will either not connect (16.10) or would appear to be connected but not reach out to y'all. (16.04) The laptop is dual boot and has no issues in Windows 10 which I almost never use and my Android phone connects just fine as well. In 16.04, I could usually connect if I restarted the network manager, but since the dist upgrade, nothing seems to work.

Laptop won't connect at my workplace either.

Run that code in a konsole. It will create a text file called wireless-info.txt. Copy the contents in your reply. (That assumes you can connect with a cable to your router)

Some are having "Reason: 7=CLASS3_FRAME_FROM_NONASSOC_STA" disassociation problems because the graphics adapter is stepping on the wifi, and they show how they solved it. That may or may not be your problem.

At that point, I was roughly 20 feet from the router and behind 2 interior walls, but I have the same problems with the repeater (Ernie_home1_RE) six feet away from that spot. Same situation at my place of business (Doc Holliday's on both my guest and secure IDs.
I will look into the graphics adapter situation after a good nights sleep. Thanks for your response, GG

This seems to relate to nvidia cards. My graphics seem to be Intel
