Pop-up in the lower right hand corner for wifi and VPN.

I have wifi and PIA vpn. When I start up I get a pop-ups saying I'm not connected.
Of course they cover up the little icons I need to click. I either have to find the little X to kill them or wait for them to go away.
It's annoying. I there a way to move them up a bit so they don't cover up the little icons?
