[KDE] How to configure exchange calendar and contacts with kmail 16.04?

    Hi Guys,

I am wondering if it's possible to configure exchange calendars and address book with kmail.

    I am on kubuntu 16.04.
On Thunderbird I am using https://github.com/Ericsson/exchange....8.0-beta3.xpi plugin. Is there anything similar for kmail?

    Regards,
    Ken

I don't believe that is currently possible. There was talk of a plug-in to do the job, but I don't know if anyone is still working on it.

There is an open source alternative to Exchange which is fully supported in Kontact / KDE PIM and that is called Kolab ( https://kolab.org ) It supports email, calendars, contacts, notes, to-do lists, busy/away status and file storage. I use it myself and really love it. You can check out the features and get a free month trail at https://kolabnow.com which is a subscription based service.

Well, I asked on IRC and apparently there IS a solution for Exchange!

I don't have an Exchange server to test it with, maybe you can figure it out?

Looks promising. I will give it a try this weekend and will let you know.

          Really appreciate your help mate.
