[PLASMA 5] how to save my current KDE desktop theme with all the customization?

    Hi all,
I am using Kubuntu 15.10 for about 6 months, and have been using previous versions over 3 years. I customized my desktop theme and icons etc; to suit me. However, recently I downloaded more desktop themes, and just want to just try them only. Before that I want to 'save' my KDE desktop theme with all the customization. But I am facing challenges. I am not sure how to get back to my present theme, if I do not like. My questions are:

    1. Is there any way to know the info of my current KDE desktop in system settings like 'current desktop theme'?
    2. why there is no button for saving the present settings [with changes] as 'save as a new desktop theme' or something like that - I believe, if such feature is provided, we can always get back after experimenting.
    3. IMP: how to save my present desktop theme to some name that I can call it my customized version? and get back if needed

I am a medical doc; am fine with most terminal based commands; and using Kubuntu last 3 years. But it is not easy to figure this out. Not sure if anyone here can recommend such features to developers?

Hey, the best thing...subsumed by "distros" in "my backup" and "usb clone" and yada yada is........or maybe was.........."remastersys"................

    produced by..................

    one of the GREATS...............of Linuxdom...................

But, because of politics................. his work has been...................deprecated................. ..

But..............there are a varity of apps which will "put my tweaked version on a distro"............

    THE CAUTION..........is..........

ummmmm your DATA WILL NOT BE SAVED................put all your DATA onto a usb stick, or a cd, or a dvd, and then do whatever tool your distro provides....

Since I use remastersys I am QUITE OUT OF THE LOOP but I'm sure that there are plenty of people much smarter than me that can provide a more modern alternative...

hey... ALL OF YOUR TWEAKS WILL SAVE.............

    just..............ummm.........not................ YOUR data.....

and thank a fellow who goes/went by the moniker of............Fragadelic.............

for YOUR ability to so do!!
