Hey folks,
Here's some of issues I've had with Kubuntu 15.04 so far:
1. The installer prompts for disk encryption password before allowing the user to select keyboard language.
2. I had to reinstall once because the KDE "resume session on login" feature resulted in a black screen at login. I disabled this feature after reinstall.
3. KDE crashes everytime I turn my displayport monitor on. This is quite annoying.
4. When turning off the system, the system never halts. KDE exits and I get the splash screen, but it never exits. I can do ctrl+alt+f1 and get a shell at this point. I always have to turn off the system by powering off.
5. The baloo indexer gets stuck at 100% CPU utilization and I had to disable the indexer.
6. When rotating my monitor counterclockwise 90 degrees and then rotating it back to normal again, half the screen becomes unusable. The solution is to restart KDE.
Other than these issues I find KDE 5 to be great.
