CTRL+C Zoom Problem

Hi there, I am using Kubuntu Trusty 64-bit and have this persistent problem. When I highlight a text in Libreoffice, Firefox or Thunderbird (and maybe other applications) and than press CTRL+C to copy it, it usually also results in zooming in or out. Can please somebody help me with disabling the zooming?
