    [SOLVED] Key quit working

I had a strange problem with my keyboard recently. A key quit working (the pipe/backslash one). I'm pressing on it, and it feels kind of sticky, but I think that it should at least print a backslash sometimes. But it doesn't. It's completely unresponsive.

    What should I do?

Desktop. It's an old Microsoft keyboard, if that matters.

If you can, try it on another PC. If the key still doesn't work on that one, you can carefully pry off the key cap and clean any 'gunk' with denatured alcohol soaked on a clean cloth or Q-tip. IF that doesn't fix the problem, well, new keyboards are reasonably cheap.

Thanks! I fixed it. I shot some compressed air into it, and it works fine now. I guess this can happen if a really large piece of lint or something gets under one of the keys.
