    sound issues after removing hdmi

I have posted a question on askUbuntu here - http://askubuntu.com/questions/60723...r-hdmi-removal

Basically the issue is that I am trying to get it so I can un-plug my HDMI cable and still have sound working on my browsers without having to re-configure everything, or even if I do have to re-configure everything at least have it make some sound. Currently when I un-plug my HDMI cable from my laptop I have sound system wide every where except in the browser. That includes Firefox and Chrome.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Thanks

try clicking the speeker icon (kmix) in the system tray ,,,,,,,you will see the firefox, chrome, audio streem volume slider ,,,,,,,,right click the icon at the top of the slider ,,,,,you will see a move to option ,,,,point at it and select the "analogue stereo"

this was in 15.04 but is the same in 14.04
