[PLASMA 5] KDE Desktop stopped loading

Alright, so I installed Kubuntu a few days ago and I can't say I've been too pleased with the switch, however one of the biggest problems I've had is that the Desktop itself refuses to load. I'm not sure what the problem could be, as Google search was relatively useless. I don't know what console outputs I should be looking for either.

The desktop is loading, just not the wallpaper. Have you tried changing it to something else?

looks like mine is running ,,,,,and yours did indeed "--shut-up" ,,,,,,,,,, now why .

what ver. of Kubuntu are you on .......looks like 14.10 or 15.04 ?

The desktop is loading, just not the wallpaper. Have you tried changing it to something else?

I have, but when I do right click->Desktop Settings nothing shows up :/
I'm using Kubuntu 14.10
