    [PLASMA 5] Crash on resume.

Plasma 5 crashes consistently on resume. The only fix seems to be a reboot (the whole system isn't crashed, I can get a text screen with Ctl/Alt/F1 etc).

Bunch of text on the screen, Can't find it in the logs yet, will report it when I get the chance to test this further.

Sorry Rog132, crappy report I agree...

OK. The story after a couple of days of frustration with KDE5 is that its getting the chop tonight.. BUT, my experiences.

After MANY attempts to get the Dell laptop to sleep and resume, the only way it works (sometimes) is if I log out first, then close the lid. In this configuration it resumes resumes about 2 out of 3 times. In all other cases, sleep from the buttons, sleep from logged in, it crashes with a black screen on resume. On resume it seems as though its X that has crashed (or wayland or whatever it is) as I can get to a text session, but I've not been able to recover the desktop. Each time I try plasmashell I get an error about X not running.

On reboot, it sometimes comes back to an operating system, but I usually have to reboot a number of times (or perhaps its just a wait thing). The screen is often just black, with the back light flashing every few seconds. Sometimes if I wait long enough, it will get to the login screen, other times not. The keyboard seems to be locked out during all of this because I can't get to a text session either.

There seems to be no control for the trackpad to turn it off when the keyboard is active (small, but annoying).

The Desktop repeatedly crashes (I loose all keyboard input, the window decorations vanish). The mouse is usually active during this so I can close some things down, and eventually manage to log out to get it working again. I've repeatedly lost all of my desktop settings during this.

The desktop settings dialogue now fails to show at all.

So.. all in all.. I love the look and feel, when its working.. but sadly its not even close on my laptop.
