What day is it? Time and Date

Can anyone point me to a method to include the day-of-the-week in the Time and Date element of the Sys Tray?
I know Unity can be configured with this feature, but who wants to deal with Unity!
    Thanks

Right-click on the digital clock, then select Digital Clock Settings, set "Date Format" to Long Date, then select the tools icon next to it. Go to the "Date & Time" tab and tweak away!
